Rough rpm, Volvo s60 2004 2.4
I have a 2004 s60 2.4 that is running rough and shuts down randomly. The CEL came on and it showed these codes, P0172, P0089, and P0191. I unplugged the MAF sensor and it ran fine so I thought that was my issue and replaced it with a new one. That didn’t resolve the issue though. I’m wondering by the P0089 and P0191 codes if it for sure is a fuel pressure sensor or if it could be a vacuum line or fuel pump. The car has about 110k miles. I’m not sure what my next step should be.

its indicating wrong fuel pressure, probably too low, maf is dumping fuel in the intake to keep it from running lean.Matty wrote: ↑02 Dec 2024, 08:29 I have a 2004 s60 2.4 that is running rough and shuts down randomly. order a cheap fuel pressure gauge from amazon and read the pressure at the rail.
if the pressure is good, 45-50 psi then the sensor is wrong.
If the pressure is low then the sensor is good and you need a pump.
