2000 XC 16T Turbo Upgrade W/ Hilton tune

Post by Darrin95 »

I'm currently rebuilding my XC due to a burnt exhaust valve in cylinder 3. I'm doing the works to it, timing kit, head gasket kit, PCV box, head bolts, axle seals, a bunch. I noticed the turbo leaking and wanted to see about upgrading so I jumped down the rabbit hole and started researching. I finally came across Hilton which gave me most of the answers I was looking for. Yes I can upgrade to a 16T Turbo, they recommended a stage 3 tune, green Injectors (which I believe my car already has, I have to double check), when looking on there site stage 3 states it's for P1, and P2 platforms but mine is a P80 platform.
Also I'm not looking to make this alot faster then stock I'm just looking for a tune to handle the new turbo. When clicking 2000- XC70 no tune shows up either only under V70. I wasn't really told which cable to use either the dice or the VROOMFLASH J2534 Cable. Does anyone have any knowledge and advice they can share with me?

In this case I'd try Swedespeed. They're performance folks ( hence the name ) and they have a section just for '98 - 2000.
