c70 2005 p80 attention alarm sound

Hi all.
I drive a 2005 cabrio, with the sc901 and the RTI navigation ( cd type 2)
Sinds i took my flip-up navi screen out
My car, after turning the contact key on, gives two "boing boing" sound on the speakers. After turning to engine on, again two times the "boing boing" sound on the speakers. Never had it before and i cant find anny info over this in the manuals. Car is driving all oke and no foulds ore problems did happen driving parking and drive on. Execpt this "boing boing" sound on every turn on.
How knows what is goining on and how do you get it off

Voice message function i assume descripted to do "ding dong" voice through speaker.

Maybe its trying to show some message? Sorry i have limited information about these.

Anny replay is welkom.
Its indeed what you discribe.

So i sould fit the screen agine to "see"
What the "message" would be.
Changed a H7 light bulb what was broken, just like the rear numberplate light. Sadly no futher warninglamp on the dash, execpt the "ding dong" stil on start.

If the car was not doing this before you removed that screen, then chances are removing it has caused the issue. As you suggest, refit the screen, even loosely, and see if it goes away. Most of my cars do that when you have the door open with the key in the ignition to remind you to take it when leaving the car.
