My V70 Wagon (95k) has developed a 'check engine' problem over the past few months which, as evidenced by the number of posts on this board, seems to be a somewhat common occurence.
The mechanic has run diagnostics a few times and came to the conclusion that the 2ndary fuel pump needed to be replaced; that was done yesterday (at a 90K servicing). But, after driving less than 10 miles, the light once again came on and after turning the car off, the fan ran for a bit.
Do I just take it back to him and say 'now what?' What can I expect in the way of tracking this problem down? Obviously I am not too knowledgable on this issue.
