replace speaker cover 2003 XC

Post by Molly »

I need to replace the speaker cover on the rear passenger door. I have the cover, but the Volvo parts guy told me that the door panel has to be taken off. Is this a difficult thing to do? I'm worried that the clips will break when I take the panel off. Do you think it would be better to take it to a shop?

Any chain auto parts store has a tool that looks like a screwdriver with a fork on the end to pop the plastic clips out of the door. The trick is to locate the clips and get the tool behind them. After the first one is released it is easy to locate the next one.

As I am looking at my thermometer it is 18
