Volvo 850 PVC trap and hose options

I'm still running my 850s and likely to for a while. I think all 3 need better crankcase breathing.
There are a few posts suggesting workarounds for various parts—and warnings to avoid Proparts and URO.

So a couple of what-if questions:

What if you dipped a Proparts or URO pipe in some sort of hardening glue? IDK, anything that could stand the heat and beef up the plastic.

Also, what about using oil/gas resistant flexible hose like what MacMaster sells?

I had good luck so far using 5/8" ID fuel/oil hose as you suggest above. I bought a short length from a vendor on eBay described as "Blue 5/8" Push Lok Fuel, Coolant, Heater Multipurpose High Temp Hose 350PSI" and it has been holding up great so far (5 years elapsed) in my PCV system.
