Used ETM on '01 S60

Hello guys, in recent time i had few issues with my ETM (magneti marelli white label), with error codes ECM-903F, ECM-91A7 and ECM-91F0. My suspect is the magnets of the motor are rubbing the windings. My question since the magnets are not repairable is will a used Volvo remanufactured unit or XeModeX work without any reprogramming. I did read somewhere that 2013 and newer Volvo replacements dont need to be reprogrammed but im not sure. Also if reprogramming is required can it be done by cloning the etm with vdash?

You need two things right for an ETM to work

Buy from Volvo or FCP, dealer programming , most expensive , no risk

Buy refurbed ftom Xmodex - ready to work, less expensive

Buy used off eBay, very reasonable, low risk if you can match year and turbo/NA ..only get the latest contactless one

Other used off eBay, about 20% chance of success - cheapest
