Check Engine Light 760 Turbo

Hello everyone, I thought thought I would check with the experts on this one as I have never had a Volvo before.

I just purchased a 1990 760 Turbo with 246,000 miles on it. The seller took it to a CA Smog place and it failed the NOX allowances. I brought it home and started going through everything and found all the vacume lines were completely shreded - some as bad a 2" rips in them - this inturn would cause the cylinder temp to be lean and high and cause the NOX readins to be high too.

I have replaced all vacume lines, fuel lines, internally cleaned all the intercooler hoses and PCV line, plug wires,plugs, dist cap and rotor are new. Also I will be putting on a new Cat convertor tomorrow.

The engine runs extremely smooth and quite and has good power - how ever the Check Engine light is still on - now excuse my ignorance here - Do I have to reset something to get it to go off? or should it shut off by itself?

Is there a Code reader plug somewhere that would help diagnose my problem?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
