Hello, mattes!
Does the T5-R Automatic transmition support 350hp?
I'm fitting a piggy back computer with a 3" downpipe and complete exhaust + 1,4 bar on the original turbo.
Is there any problem for the bone stock mobile parts?
What about the turbo? Is there a recommended top pressure?
thenks in advance,
Ogro from Brazil

Those that rebuild these engines are "trying" for 300hp. You'll definitely do some damage if you boost trying to get 350 without some serious rebuilding of the engine and trans.

I agree.
With what you said yo're doing will not be close to 350. If the above is what you're installing you will have about 290-300 hp.
It's very hard (without spending big $$$$) to get much over 300hp on these engines and 300 is about the limit of a safe transmission.
You should change the tranny fluid every 10K miles at the least

Yah you're not going to come close to 350hp without putting a larger turbo, aqua mist, intercooler upgrade and serious tuning.
At that point, your rods would be tying themselves into knots.
for now, invest in a decent transmission fluid cooler. It probably runs through the radiator as it is but a dedicated 6 or 8 pass tranny cooler will greatly extend the life of the transmission. You can get a flexalite cooler from Jegs for like $50 and comes with everything you need to install it.
That and trans fluid flushes every 10~15K miles and it should stay happy.
If you do begin to exceed 300 hp, start looking in junkyards for manual transmissions. It's the only practical option honestly.

Hitting 300 hp (to the wheels) is hard in for these turbo cars as Auburn T5 suggested. Yeah we see the 400hp on youtube but they have done some serious work to get there. And notice all are manual cars, and notice how gently they shift.
There is a couple of things you can do to make your car a 13 second car, start with a larger turbo, you can get one out of a wrecking yard off a newer S60. And while you are there get the fuel regulator off the car too.
Install a manual boost controller.
Next a chip that you customize allowing the engine to take 15+ lbs of boost, and while they are at it have them increase the rev limiter to say 6700 rpms. Most normal chips allow more boost but keep the factory boost limit to 15lbs.
Build an exhaust I would go 2.5", I know everyone says do a 3" exhaust. Here's the problem, that rush of acceleration you feel now when you hit the gas will disappear with a larger exhaust, no matter the size of the turbo. Fact is the larger turbo will make it worse because it spools slower. You will have to advance your exhaust timing 2 degrees to help with this modification. Install cams out of a Normally Aspirated 850 (yes they are larger than the turbos cams).
Install an underdrive pulley to help the engine rev quicker.
Install a larger throttle body off a 960.
Install reverse intercooling piping that you'll have to have built by a muffler shop because you won't be able to buy one that'll fit the larger throttle body.
Now to your original question about the transmission. These transmissions are good to 300hp, that doesn't mean it won't take 350hp. Mainly because you are not racing your car 100% of the time. But if you really want a transmission that will hold what ever you throw at it get ready to spend some money and go to levelten.com.
Now your biggest problem. You are going to spin your tires every time you take off. Putting larger wheels and tires will help but will slow you down because you are changing the overall gear ratio.
If you want to accelerate fast don't install a big brake kit. Just more the engine has to pull.
My 2 cents says buy a manual boost controller and have a customized chip done for more than 15lb and you'll be happy.
