reset throttle after clean? '94 850 turbo

reset throttle after clean? '94 850 turbo

just cleaned a FILTHY throttle body and plate. can't believe the car would even run but it did. now it idles with a slight lope and the check engine light is on! do i need to reset the throttle position by "clicking" the position box to make the light go off? it idled better dirty. have read several items but not sure on this '94 turbo. thanks

Disconnect the battery for about 20 minutes and make the ECU relearn your car and it's "new" condition.
