Maf sensor, S70 T5, 1997

Post by daveaherne »

Hey guys,
Just changed my maf sensor as the fault code came up recently, I put in the new one today as I was anxious to see if there was an improvement but their doesn't seem to be much difference. My mechanic is going to reset the fault code tomorrow for me-will that have an affect or should I see an immediate fix? I still have slightly rough idling, and (at times) little turbo boost, all symptons of a bad maf sensor I believe. Thanks for any help.

Resetting codes will show an immediate change to how your car is running. Have you checked fuel filter, pump, relay, wires, rotor and plugs as well- also the things that cause bad idle or rough running.

You were right-fault code reset, rough idle gone and consistent turbo boost, happy days again. :D :D
