Thanks to a poorly designed XM radio vent clip - and my fiddling with it - the center counsel vents (above the radio controls with the hazard light switch) need to be replaced.
I am seeking instructions on how to remove the existing vents and replace with a new vent.
Along those lines if you have suggestions on finding the part that would be great as well.
Thanks to all.

Just get a used one from www.erievovo.com
Call them don't email them, ask for Jack.
The part is cheap new anyway, they just pop out using the right technique
(No I never did one personally)
Next time double side tape the XM don't hang it

Jack was great. Part arrived today $24 plus shipping, totaled $35. Very nice. And its a used part, that looks like it came out of the box new so it really is great - appreciate the lead.
Looking at the part I believe I can see how it comes out. I will also check with Jack per your suggestion and post the results soon.

I replaced the center vent with no problem whatsoever. I will post two photos

The process is as follows:
There are 4 tabs that hold the vent in the dash. It looks lik ehter are 8 when you look at the photo 4 top, and 4 bottom. However once the bottom 4 are bent up for removal - the top 4 do not hold the vent in.
Under the most botton horizontal air fin on each vent are two tabs. Using a small screwdriver, simply pry the tabs up - about 1/4 inch. Repeat this process on the other side. Then you can pull the vent out. You can use either an interior tool, or a putty knife to get between the vent and the dash frame so you can grab the vent, or just use plyers. Unless you are trying to repair the item and NOT replace it, there is not much benefit to avoiding damaging the unit being removed.
Once the unit is out you will meet the resistence of the connector lead for the hazard switch. A simple pinch and this is removed.
I also moved the XM and put in a different mount attached and hidden through the pocket compartment to the left of the radio. All set.
Thanks for the help.
