JUST PUT NEW FUEL PUMPS ON MY 1989 740GLE 100000 MILE. THE MAIL PUMPS HUMS LIKE CRAZY ANY WAY TO STOP THIS THANKS

Hey Barry,

Have you checked the pressure? If the pressure regulator is bad, the pump can get real noisy.

Also, when the pump was replaced, it's important that the fuel lines aren't rubbing against the body.

Are you sure the pre-pump in the tank is supplying fuel to the main pump?
