Ignition key and lock

On the key that won't turn. Have you tried dusting the lock mechanizm with powdered graphite? It's very strange that suddenly the key won't turn. Sounds to me like something is stuck rather than brokern.
A tube of powdered graphite is available in the key dept. at Home Depot (about $1.99) Spray it in and work the key back and forth about 20 times. If it still doesn't budge...repeat.
It's worth a try and normally all that it takes.

First thing i tryed ways Graphite and spent about an hour wiggleing the key .... no go .... 88 was the first year of the computer cut key's and I was told it is quite common for them to foul up.

I have a new Ignition cylinder and key I just gotta battle the old one and get it out !
