rear wiper won't park correctly for a'99 v70 xc

my rear wiper was acting sluggish, bought and install new motor, cleaned all other moving parts so everything was moving freely. then we reassembled everything and got the wiper blade hitting the correct spots.when it stops it won't go all the way down, so it stops about 8-9" from where it should be and on the wrong side. other than that it works great. any ideas?

I looked in VADIS and there's nothing.
I searched the XC70.com forum and nothing.

I'm thinking that maybe the motor has a "swipe range" adjustment screw or something on it. If not, you might have to take the blade off of the nut (spline) and move it down a bit and re-tighten. Of course this will limited the other end of the swipe but still might be worth it if it gives you more visibility.

thanks for getting back so soon. we played around some more and got it positioned correctly.not sure what my boyfriend did but we are all set. love this site.
