Heat/AC problems none of the controls on the dash work

I've checked all of the fuses to make sure they are fine...they were. I'm wondering if anyone can offer ideas on where to check next. The controls light up but none work including the fan knob.
Please help if you can....thankyou

Sounds like the classic weak battery (if the car also doesn't start).
