Electrical failure and blown fuses

Post by jct126 »

Hi,

I am new to all this, but i am sure that the problem with my S40 has a very simple solution so i thought id ask you guys before spending heaps at a garage!

The car starts fine, but none of the indicators or dash board lights etc work, i checked the fuses and the 20 had blown, i removed it but couldnt replace it as the spare had blown and halfords didnt have then in stock, i strated the car again and all the other fuses blew..... the haynes manual just says find the cause of the fuses blowing before replacing fuses, so if anyone has any ideas id be very grateful
