"94 850 SRS light Illuminated Continuously
I have been trying for quite some time to find a way to reset the SRS light on my "94 850 Station Wagon. So far, I have only found referrals to my Volvo dealer who is asking a "healthy" fee to reset the light ( and local church pastors are not noted for their wealth ). Does anyone know how to reset the SRS light short of going to a Volvo dealer? I certainly would appreciate any information anyone may be able to offer.

Sorry and I am at work and don't have my manual handy. I know you put the test lead on the computer into socket b-5 then use the reset check engine light procedure to reset it. I'll check later and give you a better reply, thought maybe you were familiar with the diagnostic computer and how to do a reset.

chances are the SRS lights indicate a problem; if you reset it without further repair you will forget about it, and they won't work if you should you need it; so think twice.
I unplugged the infamous "clicking" seat-belt warning light due to an occupant sensor failure - and sometimes my front passengers forget.
