Rebuilt ABS pump 1994 850 turbo

Ok, I love my mechanic and all, he's a great guy, but he tends to give me a lot of bad news, the latest being that I need a new abs pump in my car. He says a new one will set me back $1700 so thats out but he says i can get a used one for $600. I'm wondering if anyone knows of a place where I can get mine rebuilt for cheaper.

He rebuilds the modules, which rarely go bad on pre 95.
He might have a pump for you.

The problem is the '94 ABS module rarely goes bad and so Victor doesn't rebuild these. My suggestion is to check the ABS wheel sensors to see if they're excessively dirty and causing the problem. Of course, he may have one but I sort of doubt it. However, he might have a suggestion for you regarding your model year car's ABS system.

I'll look into the eBay but to reply to japan, it really is the pump. It's covered in brake fluid constantly

Just make sure that's what it is...the brake master cylinder fits on th top of the ABS module. If it's bad, it will also leak fluid all over it and cause the ABS unit to not work properly.
