95 volvo 960 radio code will not turn on radio

car radio code will not turn on radio, car was brought to volvo today and tech gave me the code for the radio please help

Make sure the ignition is on in order for it to accept the code.

If the radio says "CODE" and it doesn't work, you have a replacement radio
If it says "OFF" you must get it back to say "CODE" for it to work.
If it says OFF you have to leave the key on for over two hours or drive the car for two hours without turning off the key. It then should reset to "CODE"
If it IS saying CODE now and it doesn't work, pull the radio and IM or email with me ALL the numbers on the radio (both sides)and I'll get you the right code for that radio.
If you don't know how to remove the radio, get in contact with me and I'll tell you how to do it
