89 780 Turbo Gas Octane

With gas prices rising, I am wondering if anyone puts 89 octane fuel into their turboed engines? I am using premium fuel (93 octane) and am paying $4.50 in New York, which is getting a bit ridiculous.

Anyone? It doesn't have to be 780! Any turboed 700 series.

I have used 93 octane and I am now using 89 octane. The only difference I can see is that there may be a slight difference in gas mileage.

I got better gas mileage with the 93 octane. Not much better.

Thanks for the post....heard on the radio today that gas prices might reach $10 a gallon in the U.S. by the end of the year. Brown's Gas or a hydrogen generator under the hood sounds better every day.
