2003 S60 Stalling at Low Speeds

My wife's 2003 S60 (non-turbo) intermittently stalls at low speeds, e.g. when approaching a Stop sign or making a turn. It may do fine for weeks on end, then does it five times in one day. Does not seem to be weather-related. Often happens after a long stretch of freeway driving, e.g stalls approaching stop at end of exit ramp. Check Engine light does not come on. It was doing this a couple of years ago and the dealer replaced a MAP sensor. Is this a common problem with these vehicles? Sure seems to be with this one. Our nearest Volvo dealer is 100 miles away. Wife loves the car except when it quits in middle of busy traffic - BUT I would not buy one again without a local dealer to help with problems like this...

Having a similar problem with a 2004 S60 90K non turbo with a metal fuel tank. First time it happen added fuel injector cleaner then switch to mid-grade fuel. A year later happen again more fuel injector cleaner (Linkous), changed air filter, spark plugs OEM 3 prongs. Was going to change the fuel filter PM but on the metal fuel tanks the filter is inside the tank with the fuel pump. Happens every few months now; always when slowing down to a complete stop then starts right back up. No fuses every blown, A few weeks ago happen again put sea foam in the tank this time no stalling yet. Check engine light does not come on. Did you every get it fixed?
