Hello, i need to remove the dashboard for dim module repair. how can I do it?

Welcome to Matthew's Volvo Site.
If you are only wanting to get at the dim module you don't need to remove the dash.
Ignition off and remove the key. Wait at least one minute after the key is removed before starting work.
Remove the surround for the combined instrument panel by pulling it straight out.
Remove 4 screws that are now exposed.
Remove the connector.
Remove the combined instrument panel.
Bill.
