2007 S40 2.4i - Battery, Alarm and A/C Prob

I just bought my car 2007 S40 2.4i for three week. And it keeps having prob. At the beginning the battery die, they told me it's the alarm system's problem. So they changed my battery and the alarm system. But when I drove my car today, the A/C began to have very crazy noise. It scared me a lot. And later on the A/C stop working. So I bought my car to the dealer again.

I want to ask for some suggestions. I always think there is some really serious and big prob behind all the small probs. I'm the 2nd user of this relatively new car. I bought it from the dealer ship. Do you think I could claim them to exchange another car for me. Coz driving this car really make me feel so unsafe.

Since you are the second owner, lemon laws are different for a "used" car, depending on where you live. I think you'll need more than 3 trips to the dealer for unrelated issues before you can invoke that law, no matter. Check your local laws regarding "lemons" and keep track of all of your repairs, and problems.

By the way, I'm in California, I bought it from volvo dealer.

That's even better...I understand these laws are stricter in California and if it was a "certified" car from a Volvo dealer, even better chance of getting things taken care of...

It's been more than a week, my car is still in the shop. I contact the lemon law org, they told me just two times repairment is not that significant.
