2002 S60 Trunk Latch will not lock

2002 S60 55K miles Trunk latch will not lock. Is the latch difficult to replace? Three bolts to remove it, two cables: 1. key lock 2. emergency release and one electrical plug for wires. Does the new latch come with cables or do you use the old ones? Are these difficult to attach to latch?

I suppose you know that it is a time delay for locking, something like 4 minutes after looking the car. The connection to the electric latch is made by a plug straight on the unit. No problem to disconnect and to connect. You use the old cables.

Sorry, I was not reading the question. The 4 minutes delay is valid for the gas door latch, nothing else!

Installed new trunk latch in 2002 S60 this weekend. This was very easy - 6 nuts off and on. Removing and reinstalling the fabric trunk liner was the hardest part.
