Antisway is under the car and puts tension on your suspension from below. The strut brace is above the struts, on the strut towers, binding them together and is located under your hood. Hope this helps.

The strut is the vertical component of the suspension that absorbs road shocks while allowing the wheel to turn back and forth.

The anti-sway bar connects both struts together across the car. As the car enters a turn and the strut on the outside of the turn compresses, the anti-sway bar transfers pressure to the inside strut. The purpose is to reduce body roll.

The strut brace goes across the engine compartment between the tops of the two strut towers. Its purpose is to keep the struts in alignment with each other as pressure in a turn may cause the body to flex, changing the suspension geometry. The brace resists this pressure and keeps the geometry the same.

From what I know, swaybars can reduce the amount of body roll a car has have, which then increases the amount of tire contact that will keep in hard turns. In terms of suspension mods, swaybars are said to be the best bang for the buck. Meanwhile strutbars mount to the top of the struts and help keep the strut towers from flexing when turning hard corners. However, these won't necessarily give you any additional cornering force. They will generally make the initial turn-in of the car much more responsive though.
