My old 240 with 250,000 KMS has no brake lights at all. One bulb has an after market cocket so I suspect a wireing error. How can I troubleshoot this? Perhaps a wiring diagram would help?

Fuse #7 OK?
This is the wiring diagram for the rear lights etc. Check that you have power into and out of the brake light switch, they do sometimes break down. If the switch is OK bypass the bulb failure warning sensor with a lead from the either the switch or the battery direct to the stop lamp.

Bill.
