1989 740 glt, rear door

my left rear door is closed and the handle is not out all the way and it will not open.i pushed in , i went inside the car tried to pull the button up,pulled the handle on the inside; nothing its crazy. must b one of those safety features on the blink. thank GOD i have i got 4 other doors.

You can remove the inner door panel with the door shut. It helps to remove the seat cushion first.

Once you get that off you should see what is wrong.
