1991 Volvo 745 blinking A/C Off button.

When I started my volvo today, the light around the A/C Off button started to blink. I dont have the manual, and couldnt find the answer on the web. Is it some sort of electrical problem?

Welcome to Matthew's Volvo Site.

This is an indication that there is a fault with the Electronic Climate Control.

You can read fault codes from the ECC:

I went out to try finding the fault, but the flashing light was gone. Hopefully it had something to do with the battery. I went out of power later the same day

That was an easy fix and, hopefully, permanent.

If not, you now know how to diagnose the system.
