240 dl 1989 THREE QUESTIONS

i have a few questions about my 1989 240 dl nonturbo. something is wrong with the windshield wiper fluid. when i fill it up it drains out but i don't see and cracks or wholes. i was wondering if its the pump.

also, due to the change in weather ive noticed that my windshield defroster doesnt blow fully from the vents it only blows from the corners of the vents.

i was thinking of getting snow tires and i was wondering if anyone has any suggestions. studded or not??

1. yes its your pump.
2. you have a vacuum leak under the dash and the defroster vents aren't opening. very common.
3. Buy as set of all weather tires (Michelin Proxis are very nice) and a decent set of chains and save yourself the trouble.
