P0194 engine code

Hi,

I have Volvo V70, 2003. The "Check Engine" icon popped up and diagnostic showed the following: P0194 Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Intermittent.

I close fuel tank cap tight after refueling and icon goes away. Then wnen fuel tank is half empty the icon comes back.

Does anyone know what to do with it?

Sounds like a fuel pressure regulator that is going bad or you have a bad line inside of your fuel pump. someone else posted with something similar (although on an earlier car) tonight regarding the same symptoms as yours: https://www.matthewsvolvosite.com/forums ... =1&t=18232

Exactly what is says, the fuel rail sensor, they go bad
Usually the car runs like crap.
You really need to get it to Volvo, their diagnostic is more pin-pointed

Please check the recall/ defects for 2003 v70 volvo. i believe that was a recall item

Yes it is one of the latest recalls. 04 V70.
