After making a sharp turn into a parking space the ignition switch cannot be turned into the fully locked position. The problem has happened twice in the past two weeks. I restart the car move it a short distance, repark and the switch is back to normal and can be locked.
What do you think is the problem?

It's the steering wheel. Jiggle it because it's interfering with the ignition turning mechanism. Same thing happens to prevent you from starting the car... same solution.
