Does the 1999 V70 cross country,AWD transmission have a serviceable filter? If so what is the process to change it?

No, they do not. Thus the best thing to do is to flush new fluid through the transmission periodically, replacing all of the fluid.

Thanks, Lets see what happens.
Pick up the 1999 v70 cross country close to showroom cond. for $1300. 160000 miles so lets hope just a trans flush will work.

If it's acting up, try a quart of Lucas trans additive with your final top off after the flush and fill. That stuff is magic.
