I have always done my own brakes. This will be the first time on my volvo.I usually just pop the top off the master cylinder then slowly compress the caliper using a large c-clamp.The fluid goes back into the master cylinder no problem no need to bleed the lines. Is this method alright for my volvo.I have seen other posts that talk about having to utilize up to three bleeder screws in a specific order on some models.I have a 1999 v70xc and it does have anti-lock brakes.Any help would be appreciated I dont want to damage the car.
Thanx

I have done both later model and earlier model Volvo's now and once you get the wheel off and the screw holding on the caliper loose (it's a hex screw-7mm I believe) then it's easy and self explanatory. Have your C-clamp ready!
