How to find out Volvo S80 Manufacture date

Can anyone please tell me how can I find out my volvo s80's exactly manufacture date? My dealer said it's 2003, but Vadis said it's 2004 (after input my VIN), I am getting so confuse now!

There's a plate on the inside fender (if you're in the U.S.) on the driver's side (under your hood). I think there is also a marker on the driver's side door seal (open your door and look around). One or both of these places will tell where your car was made and the day it was born.

I found my S80 manufacture date on a sticker on the backseat door frame behind the driver's door. However, the "date" is 06/03. Since the month of June is when the facelift revision occurred, I need to know whether the 06 is the day or month! Also in this door frame is a sticker that has punchouts for the dates of installation or inspection of the airbags (unclear which, install or inspect), and they are all punched out on the month of April in 2004. I must assume the airbags were one of the finishing touches to a car that had been assembled prior to April, so the 06 must be the day and the 03 must be month.Thus, when I buy my replacement handbrake cover/gaitor, I specify that the car was built before June of 2004.

06/03 means June 2003. If you want a easy way for build date? Purchase a Carfax for your car and it will give you a built date. My 2004 S80 says 05/03 on the door sticker and it's build date is 05/13/2003 a Thursday. I took delivery 12/23/2003 she was a Christmas present. June

My husband sure surprised me! I had totaled my 2002 S80 T6 in September that year and I was afraid to drive again.

He was desperate for me to drive as our son was in school and our daughter was like 3 yo. He went to the pediatrician once and that did it!

Suddenly my S80 was in the driveway! June
