Based on the thread discussing the replacement of a faulty blower transistor, I believe I have this problem. I have also noticed that sometimes when I turn the temperature dial in the cabin, the system does not always transition to the correct temperature after I turn the dial from Hot (Red= Max above 80) or to Cold (Blue = the min temperature setting). It can take 5-10 minutes or more (or never) for the heating system to switch over to the cooling system. (or at least from blowing hot air to blowing cool air). Is this problem related to the transistor problem or do I have another problem here as well.
I want to have my AC recharged, but with the intermittent blower problem (temperamental transistor) and the temperature dial lag, I'm worried I have serious A/C Heater issues. Any advice?
Blower Transistor Problem Connected to Temp Dial Problem?

If the system is low on freon, that may be why it takes so long to get cool air. I'd take it in for the recharge and see where you're at then.
