XC 60 Adaptive Cruise Control clarification on how to use

Post by hshlevin »

The adaptive cruise control on the new XC60 is great.

A few points to note on its operation:
1. The "+" and "-" buttons on the steering wheel will increase or decrease your set speeds in increments of 5 mph
2. To increase speed by 1 mph increments, you need to use the restore button (ie the button with the left facing circular arrow). I do NOT know a way to decrease set speeds in 1 mph intervals.

Hope this is helpful to you as the manual in the USA is unclear on this point. :P

Interesting... when I saw "increments of 5mph" I immediately thought "too much!" then saw the 1mpg sentence just below it. Whew.

Is ADD standard or optional?

ACC (Adaptive Cruise Control) is in one of the option packages. I believe in the Technology Package. I do not know if you can get it seperately.
