I got the Voltage Regulator off of the Alternator ....It is a Bosch BR1-0 14V foom 145 230. I can't locate a replacement. Everywhere I call said it is not replaceable. Help! Does anyone have a part # for this and where I can get it! I searched Google

I think it's Volvo part #9459746 - get it at your local Volvo dealer or http://www.myswedishparts.com or http://www.tascafordparts.com or http://www.swedishautoparts.com
Did you get the system load tested?

No, not yet...It stays on 15.5 v.....I blew both the headlights, so I wanted to get the regulator replaced and then test the Alternator.....Do you have a different opinion?

No. But since the regulator is about $100 you might want to make sure that's the problem. If you took the alternator off the car you can just put the regulator back in and take it to one of the auto parts places and they should be able to check it for you on their bench tester.Ernie Orwig wrote:No, not yet...It stays on 15.5 v.....I blew both the headlights, so I wanted to get the regulator replaced and then test the Alternator.....Do you have a different opinion?
