The wifes 2001 S60 is in need of a front suspension overhaul, around 75,000 miles. I am not looking for performance only to restore the stock ride. I have identified the following components for replacement:
Struts- going with sachs
Strut bushings
Strut mounts
Links
possibly control arms and ball joints.
I am going to do the work myself and dont want to buy inferior parts. So with so many offerings of replacement parts I am looking for your input on what is holding up and what to stay away from!
(OEM, Sachs, Karlyn, Febi, Uro, IPD, Scan Tec, etc........)
IPD offers a strut spaner tool, is this tool a necessity?

Use OEM parts PERIOD, especially if you want to go stock
