Everything on the Volvo S80. Sometimes called an "executive car", the S80 was Volvo's top-of-the-line passenger car. P2 platform.

How many miles on the engine?

You can try pouring some oil into the cylinder and checking compression again. If it comes up, the problem is probably the ring pack.

You can try Seafoam or www.auto-rx.com to try to free up the rings if that's the problem.

You can buy a program called VADIS on eBay that shows how to work on the car. Or post up questions here and we can load some PDFs and add our expertise.
