xc90 07 All 7 seat belts locked

my xc90 drivers airbag was deployed after a knock. All the seat belts are locked. I have bought a new airbag, How do i get the belts to release??

I believe you have "seltbelt pretensioners" that have a small explosive charge in them and they have probably fired during the accident. Your seatbelts will probably have to be replaced. Best thing to do is take it to a dealer so they can evaluate it. Unfortunately, I fear it's going to be very expensive. Please report back what you find out.

thank you for your reply..I have a look at the belts in the back row as they are easy to see. No sign of the pretensioner firing. The seat belts are about 250+vat each.

The dealer wants £120 to put in on the machine and then will advise on what needs to be replaced. I was hoping not to have to pay this only to be told they all need to be replaced.
