New owner, 1995 850s 16K from new...help with shopping list

Post by adrian1956 »

Hi, I'm new to this lark (having had my from new 351k Mk3 escort estate stolen), with an 1995 850S estate 10v manual gearbox with 16,000 miles on the clock, based in the UK..This car is as much perfect as I can see, with minor issues..
1. I need a full kit to convert to keyless (with 2 fobs) that will fit and compliment the current system.
2. A replacement radio aerial booster or fix (I have power, to the plug, but only radio 2 now works), it's a cr-950 and was working and I would like to use my mobile FM system.
3. The trim that surrounds the passenger opening handle has a minor crack in it (new or near perfect replacement required).
4. One new NCT 2 195 60 15 would be good (as I have one already).
5. A space saver to match (to replace the spare)
6. A pointer where I can get a quick shift kit to fit.
7. I need to replace the iffy reverse light switch..which appears to be under the centre trim.
Lastly should I look to replace the airbag within the steering wheel...is there a source for one, are they silly money.
Adrian
TIA
Any help would be good.

Thanks for the reply...I could see nowhere this side of the pond with any reference to the quick shift conversion...I am addressing the other issues.

The closest thing I have seen is a bushing set from QuickBrick Motorsports.

Sadly I have heard that he has taken ill and I'm not sure what inventory he has left. It isn't really a short throw kit but it addresses some of the sloppiness in the OEM design.
