1995 940 turbo trouble code 2-3-1
1995 940 turbo trouble code 2-3-1
Upon depressing the accelerator there is a split-second hesitation of no response before the car's normal acceleration. Other than that it operates normally. It only reads a 2-3-1 which I know has to do with a lean/rich fuel mix thing. Should I try clearing the codes or could this be related to the MAF ? Thanks Clay

Very technical description. It only reads a 2-3-1 which I know has to do with a lean/rich fuel mix thing.
2-3-1 is lambda adjustment, the lambda being the heated oxygen sensor. The suggested repair for this is to check the intake manifold for leaks and check the fuel pressure.
However, I always start by clearing the codes and see if they return. Electronic equipment is fickle at the best of times so I always ask it for a second opinion. It is amazing the number of times the code doesn't come back.
