hello everyone
i have had a lot of problems with engine mountings on my volvo S60 TS (2001), the ttouble is its sleeping policeman city where i live.
First a bracket snapped that held a ball shaped mounting with a metal strap (this is the front of the car, in front of the radiator), the hardest bit was getting the bolt that sheared off out.
Now i still get a bit of noise and i was wonder if any of you experts could take the time to have a quick blimp at the picture i took of the area in question.(they are on each side between the front of the wheel and the front of the car)

It looks like its all over to one side, on this one, and the big washer could be rubbing maybe?
thanks
Adam

Welcome to Matthew's Volvo Site.
Looking at the pictures and from your description that these two parts are each side I would say that they are the sub-frame bushes.
Part #26 is a one off at the rear left of the sub-frame. There are 3 of part #25 (number hidden by 64). One at the right rear and the other two in the holes at the right and left front.
The engine mountings are part #40, lower front; #23, lower rear; #15, lower right and #9, upper anchorage.
Bill.

Hello Bill
Sorry for not getting back to you sooner, i only get on this weekends.
I am having a bit of trouble getting my barings on this exploded diagram, if the left is the front (of the car) & right the back, i think i need the parts in the smaller circle, it is 64 and it looks like 25?.
Im sure i fitted part 41 the other week, making left the front.
Have you got part numbers please Bill.
cheers Adam
