240 black trim

What is the best way to replace the black trim below the windows and on top of the doors? Mine is pealing and cracking I thought it was painted on, but it might be some kind of vinyl tape. Thanks for the help.

VADIS only shows a trim strip so not much help. If it is peeling and cracking I would carefully strip it all off, rub it down with 1,000 grit wet and dry paper with plenty of water, dry it with a hair dryer then put on two coats of primer and at least three coats of satin finish black paint.
