2003 s60 tires

Post by sailin12 »

My girlfriend has 2003 s60...She had the tires changed according to the tire size located on gas door. Every tire that has been on the car, rubs on fender (inside)during tight turns . The latest new $$$ tires are also doing the same thing. The alignment is good, just done. I think this is not right. Help??

I also have 03 S60 and have tried 5 brands all rubbed but some more than others but all did.Does the car have 16 or 17 inch rims?If you dont go back to OEM witch i think are Pirelli P6 Four Season this is going to be a issue. But for me with 17 inch rims Yokohama Avid H/W4S did limit the problem. I was able to some what do a simple fix. Please take a look at my post in the "Tires Rubbing--Driving me NUTS!"Also the 1 thing that i did leaner with my tire issue is that the outside tread patten is where my issue lies.So when you are looking at tires take a look at the edge tread and if i is a very heavy nub i would stay away from them.I made a big mistake buy buying Toyo Proxes 4 and over about 6 months they burned all the way threw to the metal fender.
