Hi I have a Volvo s40 2001 1.9.... once I am going to start the car in the morning and somo other times during the day is giving problems and the brake electric pump is working continously... as per the mechanic I visit today he said that there should be a hose that could be broken causing this mal-function. Could you be kind enough to send me a PDF with the location of this pump and all the hoses I must check to see if I can solve the problem... or maybe you could share your ideas on this matter.
Best regards, many thanks in advance

There is a hose that has a check valve built into it. If that hose or valve fails, it will not hold pressure and the pump will stay on. We sell quite a few of those and keep it in stock. Need the vin number to find the right part.
