You can get replacement bulbs at Radio Shack, pn 272-1092 lamp. 2 for $1.79.
To get the front PCB(printed circuit board) out, refer to Bulb replacement
1. Once you have the front panel removed and the front PCB out, you need to remove the metal frame that surrounds the LCD. There are 4 tabs that go through the PCB and that need to be twisted about 45 degrees to get that frame off. You will notice the 4 tabs in the picture below. The tab at the top left arrow is soldered. You will need a de-soldering tool to suck that solder away.

2. Now that all 4 tabs have been released, the frame can be gently removed from the LCD. Push on the tabs from the back side to get it moving. Picture below shows the metal frame loose and ready to be lifted up.

3. The picture belows show the bulb that is revealed once the frame is removed.

4. The red arrow shows the two leads of the bulb that needs to be de-soldered and then remove the bulb.

5. Bulb removed.

6. Remove the black plastic base and the blue rubber nipple and put on the new bulb. Now just solder the new one in place, replace the metal frame and twist the tabs and solder the one back that you de-soldered earlier.
