S80 2000 hard shifting tranny non turbo

Can anyone point me in the right direction.? My 2000 S 80 has just started to shift hard at times .I have a ck. eng. lite with A P 0011 code.......... cam position A advanced ,I think it said. would this have any effect on the tranny ? some other items I should check 1st

Try changing the fluid and filter. Maybe that will help? It usually does.

I changed it about ..30K ago and completely flushed it ???

30K is a good interval for changes. Time to flush again. Make sure that filter gets changed. It's possible for gunk to get released into the transmission when the flush is done and get stuck in the filter.. restricting flow of fluid.
