Scantool live data reads 12-16% TPS at 0 and only 85% at maximum pedal. Is this normal?
Can you buy just the pedal sensor? Is it difficult to install? Is it plug n play ie. no programming required?
The post below sounds similar...

This is a fairly common issue. You cannot get the sensor alone, you have to buy the entire pedal assembly. Part number is 30683516 and it goes for about $104.00.
Almost forgot, it does not require any software for installation, its plug and play.

I installed the new pedal assembly today and the live data readings** for tps % are the same as the original pedal assembly. I guess a range of 12% to 85% must be normal... strange. The readings are the same if the ignition is "on" or if it is running. I would not think that the ETM would be adjusting without the car running. I will have to see on Monday if I can return the part @$198 in Vancouver.
